With this philosophy in mind, Kuroshio Sou offers an intimate setting of just 11 guest rooms: 8 Garden View Standard rooms and 3 Corner Junior Suites. Guests can enjoy a large public bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water from the source of Nanki Shirahama Onsen, as well as a private bath featuring a carefully crafted Japanese cypress (hinoki) tub, allowing guests to experience the timeless elegance of traditional Japanese aesthetics.

The dining experience is supervised by Chef Ryohei Hayashi of the Michelin one-star Japanese restaurant Tenoshima in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo. Guided by the concepts of mindful, authentic, and inspiration, the cuisine focuses on nourishment and well-being while presenting Japanese culinary traditions in a refined, contemporary form. Rooted in the local food culture of Wakayama, the dishes reinterpret regional cuisine with modern sensibilities. Great care is also given to the tableware, creating a simple yet modern presentation that evokes inspiration.

Both dinner and breakfast highlight carefully selected local ingredients sourced directly from regional producers, offering seasonal flavors that reflect the beauty of Wakayama through each of the four seasons.
