Wakayama City Museum
This small museum opened in 1985 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Wakayama Castle and the founding of the castle town of Wakayama City. You can learn about the history of the city and surrounding areas from artifacts excavated from sites in the city, as well as a wide range of documents and other exhibits.
