Restaurant bus service begins
Japan Airlines (JAL) has started recruiting for tours promoting the Kansai Expo using the Osaka-Kansai Expo themed "JAL x Gundam Restaurant Bus."
The tour will be conducted in the Tokyo metropolitan area, featuring a special bus with a height of 3 meters, a kitchen, and a two-story design with an open ceiling. The bus will be wrapped with advertisements for the Kumano Shirahama Resort Airport and tourism in the prefecture.
1. Operating Schedule: From April 27, 2025 (Sun) to June 29, 2025 (Sun) with a planned period of 30 days, mainly on weekends and holidays.
2. Operating Route: A 2-hour round tourist route starting and ending in Ginza, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
3. Activities:
(1) Promotion of Kumano Shirahama Resort Airport and local tourism in the Tokyo metropolitan area through special wrapping on the bus.
(2) Distribution of tourism brochures inside the bus.
(3) Serving Sundays and juices made from Wakayama prefecture's fruits inside the bus.
