Seishu-no-Sato
Seishu-no-Sato is a park and museum facility commemorating Seishu Hanaoka, a physician who specialized in breast cancer and pioneered the use of general anaesthetics in surgery. The museum and Seishu’s former home-cum-hospital in the park grounds provide a fun environment to learn about one of Japan’s most prestigious surgeons.
