Minabe-bairin Ume Orchard Grove (Ume Blossom)
Minabe-bairin is said to offer a view of a million plum trees and produce an aroma that fills the air for miles. It is Japan's number one ume grove in both name and reality, and in early spring, draws crowds of people from around the country who come to see the entire mountainside decorated in plum blossom.
