Kumano Hongu Heritage Center
The Kumano Hongu Heritage Center, next to the entrance to the Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, makes an excellent stop when you visit the shrine. The exhibits provide an introduction to the Kumano Hongu area and the sacred sites and pilgrimage routes found throughout the World Heritage Kii mountain range.
