Sukuma-dani Kannon Temple (Hydrangea)

The temple is renowned as a sacred site that brings good fortune and wards off evil. In the Ajisai Mandara-en Garden up towards the mountain peak, nearly 10,000 hydrangea shrubs of roughly 95 different varieties bloom in profusion. (Admission is free)
