Awashima-jinja Shrine
This old shrine is well-known for the "Hina Nagashi" ritual that takes place on March 3 every year. Many women visit this shrine to make prayers related to female matters such as childbirth and fertility. It is famous for its dolls, which have been dedicated from all over the country and are lined up in the vermilion-lacquered front hall.

- Change to the Nankai Kada Line at either JR or Nankai Wakayama Station and alight at Kada Station. It's a 20-minute walk from there.
From the Wakayama Interchange on the Hanwa Expressway, take National Route 24 and Prefectural Road 15, 7 toward Kada for approximately 17.2 km.
