Asuka-jinja Shrine
Located on the bank of the Shingu River, Asuka-jinja is a small shrine with close ties to the famous Kumano Hayatama Taisha Grand Shrine. In 2016, the shrine became part of the World Heritage 'Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range'.
